If you’re a student in the Fremont Union High School District, you can take these college-level classes through the CCAP* program – with no tuition or fees!

With this program, you can take designated classes in a variety of subjects. Classes are taught by De Anza College faculty members and provide college credit that in many cases is transferable to CSU or UC

  • Most classes are taught at high schools or online, while some are taught on the De Anza campus.
  • Depending on your schedule and interests, you can take classes during the school day or after high school hours.

*CCAP stands for College and Career Access Pathways – a partnership between De Anza College and your high school district. This program is open to students in grades 9-12 at Cupertino High, Fremont High, Homestead High, Lynbrook High, Monta Vista High and the Educational Options Center of the Fremont Union High School District.

Other Options for Taking College Courses

If you're attending an FUHSD high school, you can also check out
  • Middle College – classes taught by FUHSD teachers on the De Anza campus
  • Dual Enrollment – classes taught by De Anza instructors, online or at De Anza, that aren't offered through the CCAP program
If you go to high school in another district that isn't participating in CCAP, you can take college classes through our Dual Enrollment program.

Speak with your high school counselor about which classes you want to take.

Apply to De Anza

You must apply for admission before you submit the CCAP Permission Form

  • You don't have to submit a new application for admission if you took classes at De Anza in the last quarter.
  • If you've been away for a quarter or more (not counting summer session), you must submit a new application for admission.

Submit the CCAP Form

Submit the CCAP Permission Form. This form is only for students who want to take the CCAP classes offered in partnership with in the Fremont Union High School District.

  • If you're interested in other classes at De Anza, or if you attend high school in another district, you should check out our high school Dual Enrollment program. Visit deanza.edu/admissions/dual for more information! 
  • Please wait seven to 10 business days for us to process your CCAP form.
  • You may contact your high school counselor or the De Anza CCAP senior program coordinator (email us at dadualenrollment@deanza.edu) to confirm you are on the list for registration.

CCAP Permission Form

Check Back With Your Counselor

Once your CCAP form has been processed, your high school counselor will work with you to finalize your class schedule. 

  • A De Anza staff member will make sure you are registered for the CCAP class, so you don't need to go through any additional registration process.
