Critical Reading, Writing and Thinking
Course Description
This course allows students to develop critical thinking skills and the ability to apply these skills to reading and writing. Students will practice analytical and argumentative academic essays based on the reading of complex texts, and the use of outside research leading to analysis, comparison and synthesis, and a documented research paper.

EWRT 002.01V: This class is part of the IMPACT AAPI Learning Community, designed to help first year students succeed through community-building, and Asian American/Pacific Islander focused curriculum. This is a HYBRID class that has both online and ON CAMPUS attendance requirements. Requires concurrent enrollment in CLP 005.1V (36908) and COMM 001.1V (35201).
