Ethnic Studies Summit
This year's theme for the Third Annual Ethnic Studies Summit is "Past and Present: Struggles for Ethnic Studies" ... Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served!

The summit will feature keynote speakers sharing their journey through community college and how Ethnic Studies has become, for them, inspirations to creating positive change in the communities we belong to, and the societies we live in. Presentations from students enrolled in Comparative Ethnic Studies and Chicanx/Latinx Studies will also be featured.

This year, De Anza's Talanoa Series for spring 2025 has been integrated into the Ethnic Studies Summit, creating a rare opportunity to feature two keynote speakers of Pacific Islander/Oceania descent.

The Committee on the Ethnic Studies Summit is grateful to the Intercultural and International Studies Division, Student Success and Retention Services, and the AAPI Impact Learning Community for sponsoring this year's ES Summit.
